CONSULTATION
Dr. Casdorph provides clinical consultation at the office, over the phone or in our participating hospitals. In a consultation, Dr. casdorph will answer all your questions, review your past medical records, and if you decide to become a patient of Dr. casdorph, we will go ahead and schedule you in for a blood work , EKG and a History and Physical Exam.
EKG
Cardiac evaluation and assessment of risk for developing heart disease are integral part of the exam. Usually an Electrocardiogram(ECG) is performed to assist the physician in determining the condition of the heart.
LAB WORK
The physician will order some blood tests before patient has History and Physical Exam. Most of the labs are drawn at the clinic, and we send them out to an outside Laboratory to be analysed. The Lab companies that we generally use are the Westcliff Laboratory and Dr.'s Data.
HISTORY & PHYSICAL
Dr. Casdorph will perform a review of the patient's history and physical assessment of the body from head to toe. This also would include a pelvic and rectal exam. A treatment plan is developed after this exam.
URGENT CARE
Established patients requiring a same day appointment can be seen for office visits. New patients can also be seen if they need urgent care but they will have to go through Pre-registration( EKG & Lab Work) and a physical exam, on the same day. For all emergencies patient are advised to call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
PRO TIME CHECKS
A blood test, called a Protime (PT) or International Normalized Ratio (INR) used to adjust Coumadin or other anti coaugulant medications. The blood test measures the time it takes for blood to clot. . The blood tests are the only way to measure the balance between bleeding and clotting.
HAIR ANALYSIS
Hair analysis is the best way to determine if you are deficient in minerals or have excess heavy metals in your system.Blood analysis is appropriate for determining certain minerals i.e.iron. Since the body does not efficiently excrete heavy metals, hair analysis interpretation is important because high levels of toxic minerals in the body can be poisonous. CHELATION THERAPY
Before a patient starts on chelation therapy infusions, they will have to go through Pre registration( EKG & Lab work), and then History and Physical Exam. The lab work ordered is usually a basic metabolic panel, Sedimentation rate and Urinalysis; and specifically for chelation therapy patients, Dr. Casdorph would order a 24 hour creatnine clearance to check the patient's kidney function.
Per ACAM protocol, Dr. Casdorph recommends a series of 30 infusions. There are two different types of Chelation Infusions , there is a shorter one administered for up to two hours and the longer that runs from three to four hours. The benefits are nevertheless the same. VITAMIN C INFUSIONS ( HIGH ENERGY IV)
This remarkable mixture of high dose vitamin Cand other ingredients gives remarkable improvements in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome, Epstein Barr virus infections and other conditions in which the immunity of the body is depressed. We have used it for years with remarkable success. It is also used in the treatment of fibromyalgia.

DMPS INFUSIONS
DMPS is a chelating agent whose chemical name is Dimercaptopropane sulfonate and trade name is Dimaval. It is used in the diagnosis and treatment of heavy metal toxicity, especially lead or mercury, since it has a high affinity for binding these metals and removing them from the body. It has been used extensively in Europe, particularly in Germany, and has a good track record. It is still considered investigational in this country and, therefore, may or may not be considered a covered expense by insurance companies.
GLUTATHIONE IV PUSH
Glutathione is a tri-peptide made up of the amino acids gamma-glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine and is also known as gamma-glutamylcysteinylglycine or GSH.There is a direct correlation with the speed of aging and the reduction of glutathione concentrations in intracellular fluids. As individuals grow older, glutathione levels drop, and the ability to detoxify free radicals decreases.
There is a remarkable amount of evidence that glutathione is hugely important in detoxification, can also help patients with a range of conditions. Glutathione is found in every cell in your body. It is a naturally occurring substance that acts as an antioxidant, an immune system booster, and a detoxifier. Glutathione can help your body repair damage caused by pollution, radiation, infection, drugs, poor diet, aging, injury, trauma, and burnsoxifies heavy metals, helps ferry amino acids into the cells, helps in bile production, and much more.
Because of all its capacities, glutathione is crucial in maintaining immunity.

DIABETES PREVENTION AND CONTROL
We offer small group classes discussing type II diabetes. At these classes, we take an individual approach to interpret blood results, discuss causes of diabetes and effect of life style choices on diabetes including diet and exercise. Finally, the group will discuss the connection between diabetes , blood sugar levels and the development of complications.
WEIGHT REDUCTION
